Medical Centre in Windsor

Concept design work can be more fun in generating ideas about a place or a project. This scheme was designed for a medical centre that wanted to expand car parking and office space within an existing facility in Windsor. The exploration was to see how many car parks could be added across multiple levels and if we could turn it into an expansion of existing consulting suites.

We proposed a three-level building with a diagonal cross grid over the façade. The geometry of the façade pattern allowed for multiple conditions. It allowed ventilation to the car spaces and then turned into a curtain wall above. We proposed that from the ground, the façade would be landscaped to promote a softer exterior to the surrounding residential neighbours.
